I concur. The Russians are harmless. They just want respect and to guard their interests, just as any nation would. The problem here is not only the media spin in this nation but that fact that we don't live on a continent that's congested with many nations. If we were in Europe we would have a completely different foreign policy. It's easier to boss people around when those who you reprimand are not next door.
I generally agree with your assessment with an exception that American foreign policy is almost identical to Russian when it applies to Western hemisphere, and is just a tiny bit more relaxed everywhere else in the world. I mean US did try to recapture Cuba, did attack Grenada, did sponsor coup d'etat in Chile, etc, etc.
I fully agree, I just meant that having Poland, Germany, and China as some of your neighbors is different than Canada, Mexico, of even Cuba. Similar policies, but different "opponents" with different strengths. Great posts my man. Keep it up.
